I am an introvert by nature and that simply means not used to mingling with people in general. I rarely gou out to hang out with my close friends either since my parents particularly my dad is quite concern of the safety of his children. I think all parents have the same sentiments, agree? There are several ways that will enable a person to be connected thanks to technology. I used to have an account in friendster but then those in charge messed it up. It had tons of errors and problems that made it hard for me to navigate although it was somewhat ok for a short while. Then I tried out WAYN but guess it wasn't great for me as it's more meant for the travelling type of people. It is a social network as well but it doesn't suit me plus the fact barely had any friends or any other reason to stay there often. I did have fun meeting a few peeps too bad forgot to add them to my friend list so lost contact in the end. Here are a few screen shots so you get a slight idea how that site looks like.

Warm Wishes to All Mothers

It is an event that is commemorated and very much commercialized in society. I however, like to think this day is celebrated should have much more depth in appreciating one's mother. Two years ago I nearly lost my own mother due to an illness. Fortunately we got her confined in the hospital just in time for an angioplasty operation/procedure. Of course the doctors and nurses had to stabilize her heart condition before going through this ordeal. I was truly frightened of the thought of losing my mom since I love her very much. I wasn't sure if I could handle it well if anything went wrong during that time. I  stayed by her side for more than a month but that is nothing compared as she continues to take care of me until today.

Together a snapshot with nurse Wena at the San Lorenzo Ward which is no longer there as UST hospital  started to bulid a new construction in its place. Sorry for the blurry result though hee~ There were many other super nice nurses/nurse aid in the ward but can't recall all their names but I do miss them very much. Erm..Zherdy is the name which I can remember since it was not a common nickname/name for that matter. Besides he was super strict when it was time to I had to get used in the injection process since that was necessary for mommy to receive when they're not around. *sighs*. I am not exactly fond of needles or sharp objects so it took awhile. I didn't like the idea of hurting my own mother since I do make mistakes in doing those stuff.   Tere or was it Teresa..?  I had much fun chatting since she was the super jolly kind when she attended to mommy.They made our stay there quite homely. Although the building was really old and the not-so welcomed  insects were present which pops out when you least expect it.

It's been long since I wrote anything at all. I wasn't really in the mood last month since my country had to go through much natural calamities. I was busy  doing my best to help out those who have greater basic needs than I do. So I decided to sort of stuff at home and share it without any profit. I just hope the donations I made really did reach those people who need it the most. I definitely didn't like the fact the local government are literally slow and thick face kind. More people could have survived if only there weren't too many "TUPPER WARE" like attitude from the politicians or taking photo opportunities  to look good in the public eye.. I am not fond of bad mouthing anyone at all this is just a part of me feeling frustrated.

Enough of the sad mode I should be sharing happy stuff to change the mood. The last "ber" moth has finally arrived which means 2013 will end soon. To be honest I don't get to chit chat with my friends at all besides the fact it's a hard to go out without my elders noticing that I am missing aka nowhere to be found at home. I don't blame them for the world is a dangerous place so have to be wary of practically everything now. Many of them are quite busy with their own personal lives and can barely relate much.

So here are just random snapshots when I go out.

During the evening at the cemetery with my friend only meet once a year only. We don't really have any other venue to choose from except this as I don't go the province in a regular basis.

Dinning Out & Shopping a bit more..

Big sis and I always look forward to eat the the Designer pancake by the Pancake House. Unfortunately we forgot to take a snapshot of the Red Velvet pancake last month. It was the best one we have tasted. I wish they include in their best seller menu. We were both sad that the Pancake house branch at Greenhills closed. That was our favorite place for lunch when we go there.


The food served is always good and the servers are in cheerful mood which makes me to come back more often. Fortunately there is Banawe branch which is quite near home. Less worries of being stuck in traffic on the main roads as the traffic flow in Philippines is quite horrid. So last Friday big sis and I decided to eat there. Since the last attempt to have a taste of the latest Designer Pancake was out of stock. This time we were able to get hold of it. I enjoyed the sunrise steak which was really good.



Here is a snapshot of the latest craze: Speculoos Cookie Butter Pancakes. It was rich and creamy. Its taste just awesome team it up with their home made syrup is just wonderful. You just got to try it as it is very addicting. We liked it so much we ordered 2 more for take home.


While my recent purchases from ms jean owner of Gyaru Shoppe was cute and functional indeed. At the center is black Anna Sui Rotating Earring Holder,lower left is a pink Anna Sui Lens Travel Kit,at the lower right is the Anna Sui DECO Lens which is very delicate! i had to take extra care or the flower might break plus the humidity ain't helping either. :'( the cute kitty at the left side and ruby/gold oval shape belongs to my grandma which both are quite old. i doubt you can easily find like that in the market today that looks that way. It keeps my other collection of earrings as the rest of them (earrings)couldn't fit in the black Rotating Earring Holder lolololzzz!!!

I made another purchase from ms Jiandra this time the accessories line have a certain twist. She makes Quality, Unique and Handmade Leather Accessories which are uniquely designed slightly different from the M'Lady line. It's been operating since 2008. Some might not exactly be their cup of tea like my niece and big sis. They aren't fond of my inclination to such as dark/spikey stuff. Birthday Celebration of my Mom

I am blessed to have a loving caring mother. I am very thankful she is still alive and well. Today she is turns 70 which not many reach this age given the fact life has been quite stressful and lifestyle has changed greatly compared to the times during my grandparents. Life back then was more relax and less worries to tend to. Father Bogs (priest) came all the way from Bulacan to celebrate mass at the office.

We gave thanks to our creator as given the chance to live in a world of possibilities. We had a humble selections prepared by the caterers for lunch.

Chef Robert's - Asian fusion Restaurant

I am glad my sis and I got to try out this place. It quite nearby so got no worries for being stuck in traffic. I dread the fact traffic here can be so annoying rainy season or not. We were lucky since we felt hit the jackpot came in at the right time.

We had this light yet savory crisp Tofu in Japanese dressing. It was slightly sweet but not too much which complimented each other.

THIS INFORMATION FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE

I read this and best to disseminate it for others to read. "Parents, please warn your kids about this. I am forwarding this message from a concerned parent whose daughter almost fell into this trap: Please be FOREWARNED that there is a criminal syndicate out there victimizing unsuspecting young girls from exclusive schools via Facebook. I am taking this opportunity to share with you how they tried to lure my daughter into their trap. My daughter has a friend from way back in grade school. They have since parted ways and this friend is now a young international fashion model. Last Tuesday, this friend got in touch with my daughter thru Facebook and asked her if she was interested to model for a makeup artist's portfolio. She told my daughter this makeup artist is a friend and that the pictures would come out in Meg magazine. Being a fashion model herself, she told my daughter she would be there during the shoot to assist and guide her. Knowing her background, my daughter readily agreed. During the course of their conversation, her friend suggested they meet at McDonalds to meet up with the makeup artist -- let's call her Sarah -- then proceed to the studio for the shoot. She asked for my daughter's current cell no so that Sarah could coordinate with her. They also agreed that the shoot would be on Thursday morning at 9:30. She told my daughter she wouldn't need to bring her driver along to the studio. Sensing something was amiss during their Facebook conversation, my daughter decided to get in touch with her friend thru other means. When she got hold of her, my daughter was shocked to find out that her friend had moved abroad and that her Facebook account had been hacked and that she had been blocked from accessing her own account. They concluded that the person my daughter was conversing with on Facebook was an impostor. Confused and afraid, my daughter decided to tell only my wife. My wife, who happened to be out of town, just told her not to go. Come Wednesday, the impostor conversed with my daughter thru Facebook again. Pretending she was not yet aware of the truth, my daughter just played along. During their exchanges, the impostor was telling my daughter that she doesn't have to bring much and almost everything will be provided for. In the evening, Sarah, the supposed makeup artist, started texting my daughter about their scheduled meeting the next day, but my daughter never replied On the day of the supposed shoot, Sarah texted my daughter several times early in the morning to remind her of their appointment. At around 8:00 am, Sarah texted my daughter to tell her they were already there waiting for her. At around 8:30, Sarah started calling my daughter incessantly but she refused to answer. After around 40 missed calls, my daughter who was already scared and confused finally told me the whole story. I immediately looked at all their Facebook conversations and the text messages from Sarah. At the onset, I knew this was already a kidnapping attempt. My daughter who was already on the verge of tears begged me to find a way to immediately stop the harassment. I told her to pick up the phone the next time Sarah calls and inquire where her friend is. As expected, a few seconds later, Sarah called again. When my daughter finally picked up the phone, she asked Sarah where her friend was. Sarah told her that her friend was already there waiting. When my daughter revealed to Sarah that her friend is actually abroad, Sarah suddenly hung up, never to be heard again. I am fairly convinced that there are three possible scenarios to this: 1) a kidnap-for-ransom attempt, 2) they will take uncompromising pictures of my daughter to blackmail her for life, or 3) a kidnap-rape-slay attempt. We are currently investigating the incident including the phone no of Sarah. As of this writing, this impostor is trying to lure another common-friend of my daughter using the same modus operandi. We have already warned her of the danger. I hope you share this story with your children, especially your daughters The moral of the story is to please tell your children never to agree to meet a friend or friends ONLY thru social networking websites. Double check who they are actually conversing with by getting in touch with the person via phone or VOIP (i.e. - Skype, FaceTime, Viber, etc.). Furthermore, while conversing through social media, they should ask or talk about certain circumstances known only to both parties to ascertain their true identity. Unfortunately, most kids are too naive to realize the real danger posed by social media until it is too late. May this serve as a lesson and a guide for them.
