I am an introvert by nature and that simply means not used to mingling with people in general. I rarely gou out to hang out with my close friends either since my parents particularly my dad is quite concern of the safety of his children. I think all parents have the same sentiments, agree? There are several ways that will enable a person to be connected thanks to technology. I used to have an account in friendster but then those in charge messed it up. It had tons of errors and problems that made it hard for me to navigate although it was somewhat ok for a short while. Then I tried out WAYN but guess it wasn't great for me as it's more meant for the travelling type of people. It is a social network as well but it doesn't suit me plus the fact barely had any friends or any other reason to stay there often. I did have fun meeting a few peeps too bad forgot to add them to my friend list so lost contact in the end. Here are a few screen shots so you get a slight idea how that site looks like.

Warm Wishes to All Mothers
It is an event that is commemorated and very much commercialized in society. I however, like to think this day is celebrated should have much more depth in appreciating one's mother. Two years ago I nearly lost my own mother due to an illness. Fortunately we got her confined in the hospital just in time for an angioplasty operation/procedure. Of course the doctors and nurses had to stabilize her heart condition before going through this ordeal. I was truly frightened of the thought of losing my mom since I love her very much. I wasn't sure if I could handle it well if anything went wrong during that time. I stayed by her side for more than a month but that is nothing compared as she continues to take care of me until today.
Not the best snapshot of myself taken by my friend to visit me and mommy.
Together a snapshot with nurse Wena at the San Lorenzo Ward which is no longer there as UST hospital started to bulid a new construction in its place. Sorry for the blurry result though hee~ There were many other super nice nurses/nurse aid in the ward but can't recall all their names but I do miss them very much. Erm..Zherdy is the name which I can remember since it was not a common nickname/name for that matter. Besides he was super strict when it was time to I had to get used in the injection process since that was necessary for mommy to receive when they're not around. *sighs*. I am not exactly fond of needles or sharp objects so it took awhile. I didn't like the idea of hurting my own mother since I do make mistakes in doing those stuff. Tere or was it Teresa..? I had much fun chatting since she was the super jolly kind when she attended to mommy. They made our stay there quite homely. Although the building was really old and the not-so welcomed insects were present which pops out when you least expect it.

Hanging around and Hauls from Favorite Online Stores
It's been long since I wrote anything at all. I wasn't really in the mood last month since my country had to go through much natural calamities. I was busy doing my best to help out those who have greater basic needs than I do. So I decided to sort of stuff at home and share it without any profit. I just hope the donations I made really did reach those people who need it the most. I definitely didn't like the fact the local government are literally slow and thick face kind. More people could have survived if only there weren't too many "TUPPER WARE" like attitude from the politicians or taking photo opportunities to look good in the public eye.. I am not fond of bad mouthing anyone at all this is just a part of me feeling frustrated.
Enough of the sad mode I should be sharing happy stuff to change the mood. The last "ber" moth has finally arrived which means 2013 will end soon. To be honest I don't get to chit chat with my friends at all besides the fact it's a hard to go out without my elders noticing that I am missing aka nowhere to be found at home. I don't blame them for the world is a dangerous place so have to be wary of practically everything now. Many of them are quite busy with their own personal lives and can barely relate much.
So here are just random snapshots when I go out.
Sorry a bit blurry was wearing a blue kitty hat, floral top, floral necklace and a watch.
This is a dress which bought from GFO Manila accessories from C.N.A. Philippines, ToxicKitty and Berry Drop .
Outfit for November 1 during All Saints' Day
Vintage dress from Cwc Pride, Pistol stocking from Kawaii Hayari, Clutch/Shoulder Bag from M'Lady
During the evening at the cemetery with my friend only meet once a year only. We don't really have any other venue to choose from except this as I don't go the province in a regular basis.

Interesting Finds
Not much to say but I really liked this armor vehicle. I don't get to see it often that so similar to a transformer character. I wonder if many people actually likes transformer characters. I think they're cool.
It looks like U.S jeepney the kind you see in the films only this one is in green color. I asked for a snapshot glad was given the permission to do so hee~

Dinning Out & Shopping a bit more..
Big sis and I always look forward to eat the the Designer pancake by the Pancake House. Unfortunately we forgot to take a snapshot of the Red Velvet pancake last month. It was the best one we have tasted. I wish they include in their best seller menu. We were both sad that the Pancake house branch at Greenhills closed. That was our favorite place for lunch when we go there.
The food served is always good and the servers are in cheerful mood which makes me to come back more often. Fortunately there is Banawe branch which is quite near home. Less worries of being stuck in traffic on the main roads as the traffic flow in Philippines is quite horrid. So last Friday big sis and I decided to eat there. Since the last attempt to have a taste of the latest Designer Pancake was out of stock. This time we were able to get hold of it. I enjoyed the sunrise steak which was really good.
Here is a snapshot of the latest craze: Speculoos Cookie Butter Pancakes. It was rich and creamy. Its taste just awesome team it up with their home made syrup is just wonderful. You just got to try it as it is very addicting. We liked it so much we ordered 2 more for take home.
While my recent purchases from ms jean owner of Gyaru Shoppe was cute and functional indeed. At the center is black Anna Sui Rotating Earring Holder, lower left is a pink Anna Sui Lens Travel Kit,at the lower right is the Anna Sui DECO Lens which is very delicate! i had to take extra care or the flower might break plus the humidity ain't helping either. :'( the cute kitty at the left side and ruby/gold oval shape belongs to my grandma which both are quite old. i doubt you can easily find like that in the market today that looks that way. It keeps my other collection of earrings as the rest of them (earrings)couldn't fit in the black Rotating Earring Holder lolololzzz!!!
If interested to by products similar to mine, click here: Gyaru Shoppe
By the way ms Jean who is the proprietor of Gyaru Shoppe hosts it's first give away! Simply click on the photo below and kindly follow the mechanics indicated. The winner will be announced on June 5 2013.
I made another purchase from ms Jiandra this time the accessories line have a certain twist. She makes Quality, Unique and Handmade Leather Accessories which are uniquely designed slightly different from the M'Lady line. It's been operating since 2008. Some might not exactly be their cup of tea like my niece and big sis. They aren't fond of my inclination to such as dark/spikey stuff. Left to right: Ancient Testament, Nouveau Testament, Name: Damascus (maroon) and below is an eyeglass chain Naitre(Spring).

Birthday Celebration of my Mom
I am blessed to have a loving caring mother. I am very thankful she is still alive and well. Today she is turns 70 which not many reach this age given the fact life has been quite stressful and lifestyle has changed greatly compared to the times during my grandparents. Life back then was more relax and less worries to tend to. Father Bogs (priest) came all the way from Bulacan to celebrate mass at the office.
We gave thanks to our creator as given the chance to live in a world of possibilities. We had a humble selections prepared by the caterers for lunch.
My mom with the priest before start to feast on the blessings bestowed upon us.
The buffet spread
Greens/Salad
Left-Right: Callos, Chicken with asparagus, Pasta Prima Vera
Left to right: osso bucco, blue Marlin(fish)on the side toasted garlic, grilled prawns lemon butter on the side, lechon aka roast pork
Upclose photo of the cakes bought. The toppers were thoughtfully handmade by my niece and nephews aka the grandchildren.

My Online Shopping Spree from M'Lady
I haven't written much on blog since I relatively lazy. Hee ~ I have been searching for a long time the image of a lady like image that would carry all my daily needs in modern times yet gives off a whimsical feel. I already tried for years to find the exact bag but failed ever so many times. It just didn't reach my expectations each time I see something maybe similar in the bazaars/ tiangges or even inside the department stores at the different malls. A certain element was always missing. Fortunately as I keep track on my trusted online store owner's updates at facebook, she shared a photo about "M'Lady". thanks mommie Abbie for sharing: The curiosity in me got the best in me and decided to browsed on her facebbok/fanpage. What is it about? "M'Lady, a fashion line of princess-theme bags and accessories designed by Jiandra Alda." Alright I was excited thinking to myself perhaps this is it! I probably found the right bag that would be sturdy enough and fulfill the image I have in mind for years. You see..my big sis have been bugging me to buy a bigger bag but we just couldn't agree I wasn't happy with so many bags available in the stores none would just pass my "a-ok" approval from me. I like the fact I am able to help a bit financially and spread a bit of her creations which I am sure going to enjoy for the years to come. Mind you you got to save a lot since they are made of good quality materials. But it was worth the money as i have been waiting patiently. A few snapshots of the clutch/shoulder bag. Pardon my ghastly face for the cream I applied somehow melted due to the humid weather.. I wonder if anyone else dares to post of her/himself looking like this? Anyways kindly focus on ms Jiandra's creation instead of the zombie model. lolololzzz!!!!!

MY TOP 3 BLACK LISTED
I apologize for the not so positive vibe for the title. I just had to let out the blasted emotions that were churning inside for such a long time.
1. Skin Food --> I was excited to go to SM Megamall because finally a physical store which is Korean Skin Care/ Make up. I was enthusiastic to try their products and was very curious if my skin would be compatible with their products. This incident happened November 2006. Unfortunately my trip there was absolutely awful. Perhaps the way I look was relatively ragged and literally look like a pauper. Well that doesn't justify the treatment I received form those sales ladies. I am a customer and have means to buy things. I expected to be treated well not like a creep/thief. I simply hate the dagger looks they gave me which was a great insult. I had to make it clear to their head manager if that customers should be approached with smiles not with smirks. No one should be treated that way based on how they look. You get my drift? Arrggh!!!!! They did apologize but that didn't change my impression about the entire staff for I can sense deep down I know they were all just acting to compensate for the damage done. I have never again set foot near any skin food store nor the kiosks inside the department stores since. I do have a few samples at home but those were given to me by my very accommodating online store owners who are a 100% the nicest.
2. MMDA Traffic Enforcer --> This incident occurred April 2010 Saturday. I was with my big sis together with the driver and my nice/nephew's nanny who will be going back to her province for a vacation. We decide to save gas as the trip to the bus terminal was relatively nearby to our workplace besides what could possibly go wrong, right? The trip was smooth sailing until an MMDA officer gave a signal for our vehicle to stop at the side. He claims that our driver made a violation there was a ""no U-Turn" sign. I look at it intently and it wasn't clear and for goodness sake! It was NOT visible/ HUGE enough to be noticeable for the person who is driving. It was just approximately the size of an imported/American size toilet paper. How can anybody see that from a distance, imagine only a size of a ten year old child?!? Only superman or an Extremely laser sharp eyesight can view from where it was placed and it was positioned too LOW. I had to argue with the guy at the top of voice to make a point. My entire body at that time was shaking violently that made the MMDA traffic enforcer startled & later on in shock mode. I told in a booming voice "You better pay for my hospital bills!! I want to know your full name right now!!!!!" His complexion turned white like a clear sheet of paper and that was the moment he decided to let us go without any ticket and no fuss of whatsoever. I couldn't concentrate at work that day. We had to go out for an early lunch break just to calm down my nerves. I was furious that even the waiter we frequent at the Korean restaurant was wary of me. Thank goodness the food was satisfactory which managed to relax my boiling blood inside of me.

Birthday Celebration of Nephews & Mini Haul
To minimize the expenses the parents of my nephews decided to celebrate together. Their favorite character are power rangers so that's the theme of the party.
The fiasco cake by Aristocrat bakeshop. Just read the next post about it. I find the execution was done sloppily. Something which I didn't expect from an established business. The off spring of the new generations is an absolute let down factor.
Fortunately the are other cakes which were more reasonably price, looks & taste a lot better too!
I apoligize for not posting the delicious dishes prepared by Albergus catering. I was rather busy munching as everything was really yummy!!!
